First steps of treatment and Healing period

Once the treatment plan is approved, planning is an important step. The dentist will take a scan (Cone Beam Volumetric Tomography) and prepares a surgical guide. He will take impressions of your teeth to make study models. He will ask your medical practitioner to certify that there are no contraindications to the placement of an implant, depending on your health condition.

There is a necessary delay before the prosthesis can be placed, to insure proper healing. However, we can modify your actual prosthesis to make it comfortable and functional, until we can place your final prosthesis.

It is as essential to have good dental hygiene for patients with dental implants and prostheses as to those with natural teeth.

Preventive dental cleaning visits must be done on a regular basis.
