What is an implant?

An implant is a titanium metal rod placed in the jaw bone. It has the ability to fuse with your bone. It replaces the missing root and acts as an anchor to support the prosthetic part such as a crown, a bridge, a partial or complete denture.

Dental implants fulfil the same functions as natural roots and stabilize the prosthesis. They maintain current bone volume while slowing bone loss. Dental implants improve the quality of life of patients allowing them to recover their joy of eating and smiling.
