Removal of Residual Root Bone

The residual roots bone pieces come from a fractured tooth. They can be covered by gum or bony tissues. The dentist will evaluate if their extraction is required. If the residual root pieces cause no problem or pain, it can be kept under observation. However, it has to be extracted prior to replacing the tooth by installation of an implant or a fixed bridge.
