Crowns

A crown replaces and entirely covers the visible part of the tooth. It is made of a metal alloy and coated with porcelain of the same colour as your tooth. It protects the tooth and avoids complications that can result in tooth loss.

A crown is recommended when the tooth is deeply damaged, fractured or has received a root canal treatment, the devitalized tooth being more fragile and brittle. It is usually the strongest restoration available.

In addition to its superior protection, durability and comfort benefits, a crown also offers a remarkable look. It is therefore often used in cosmetic dentistry and most often, we use a 100% porcelain crown (without metal).
